Terms & Conditions
These terms govern a business's use of the Alonah platform. By creating an account or subscribing, the business's authorized representative agrees to them.
01. The service
Alonah is a WhatsApp- and voice-first AI receptionist for appointment-based businesses: answering customer messages and calls in Arabic and English, booking into the business's calendar, collecting deposits, and handing off to staff when needed.
02. Accounts and responsibilities
The business is responsible for the accuracy of the information it provides (services, prices, hours, policies), for keeping login credentials secure, and for how its own staff use the platform. Alonah's replies are only as accurate as the information and configuration the business provides.
03. Payment terms
Subscription fees are billed per the plan and billing cycle selected at signup, in USD or a supported GCC currency. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. A subscription in payment failure may be suspended; see the reactivation flow in the client dashboard.
04. Intellectual property
Ciphers Lab owns the Alonah platform and grants the business a limited, non-exclusive license to use it for its own operations during an active subscription. The business retains ownership of its own content (services, FAQs, uploaded documents) and its customers' data.
05. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." Ciphers Lab is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. [PLACEHOLDER] — a specific liability cap (e.g. fees paid in a defined prior period) is a legal decision to be finalized, not something set here by default.
06. Termination
A business may cancel its subscription at any time from its dashboard. Ciphers Lab may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. Reasonable data export is available for a period after cancellation — see the client dashboard's export tools.
07. Governing law
[PLACEHOLDER] — Ciphers Lab has offices in Miami, USA and Karachi, Pakistan, and Alonah primarily serves GCC businesses. Which jurisdiction's law governs this agreement, and where disputes are resolved, needs to be decided by Ciphers Lab's legal counsel — it is not something to guess or default here.
08. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active businesses before taking effect.
