Data Deletion Instructions
How to ask Ciphers Lab LLC, the company behind Alonah, to delete your data, including any data we received from Meta (Facebook / WhatsApp) when you connected your WhatsApp Business Account to Alonah.
01. If you are a business using Alonah
1. Email info@cipherslab.com from your account's registered email address with the subject "Data deletion request" and your business name. Tell us whether you want only your WhatsApp / Meta data deleted (we disconnect your WhatsApp number from Alonah), or your whole Alonah account closed and deleted. 2. We confirm your request by email within 3 business days. 3. We complete the deletion within 30 days and email you a confirmation. Data is purged from backups within a further 60 days.
02. Remove Alonah from your Facebook account
You can also revoke Alonah's access directly in Meta: 1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations. 2. Find "Alonah" and select Remove. 3. Alternatively, in Meta Business Suite go to Business settings → Integrations → Connected apps (or WhatsApp accounts → Partners) and remove Alonah. Revoking access stops any further data from reaching us. To also delete what we already hold, send the email request above.
03. If you are a customer who messaged a business
Your conversation belongs to the business you messaged, so please ask that business first. They can delete your conversation and customer record from their Alonah dashboard. If you can't reach them, email info@cipherslab.com with your phone number and the business's name, and we will work with the business to handle your request.
04. What gets deleted
Your WhatsApp connection data (WABA ID, phone number ID, access tokens, business profile), conversations and messages, customer and booking records, and (if you ask to close your account), your account and business settings. Billing and invoice records are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires.
